Payment plan
Two payments, timed to your pregnancy.

Payment is made by transfer into the clinic bank account. If the balance is not settled by 36 weeks, Essence cannot facilitate your birth.
Once you are registered, the patient portal works out both dates from your due date, sends reminders, and shows your invoices and what you still owe.
The recovery room

Before you book.
The package covers the birthing fee. Antenatal visits, blood work, the 34-week birth preparation session and the compulsory 36-week gynae visit are charged separately; see fees.
Birth at Essence is for healthy, low-risk pregnancies. If you or your baby need hospital care, we arrange an ambulance transfer to secondary care, charged only if needed.
After the birth, your day-3 postnatal visit for you and your baby is free.
